Is Any of This Replicable, or Am I Simply Describing My Own History Backwards?

A reader suggested that I had lived through something unusual and then built a framework backwards from it, fitting the architecture to the outcome. If that were true, the framework would be a memoir with diagrams and nothing in it would be available to anyone else. The objection deserves a direct answer.
